Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Dec 31: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Neeli Nallah Udhampur, under the theme "SEVA CE SIKHE", organized a Health Care Awareness program at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Garhi. The event, aligned with a Government of India initiative, aimed to educate students about healthcare practices and their societal impact. Led by NSS Program Coordinator Prof. Shaista Yasmeen, Assistant Professor, Department of English, the program witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers. The session included an interaction with distinguished healthcare professionals at the Ayushman Arogya Mandir, PHC Garhi. Dr. Arti Bharat (Medical Officer), Dr. Ritu Raina (Dental Surgeon), and Mr. Somraj Gupta (Head Pharmacist) delivered insightful talks on disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and healthy living. Their speeches inspired students to engage in community healthcare initiatives actively. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Seema Arora commended the students and faculty for their efforts, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and social responsibility.
