“The local recruitment of terrorists in Pakistan-sponsored terrorist groups is almost nil and this year, 75 terrorists have been killed including 45 of Pakistan origin,” they said.
“Neighbouring Pakistan is making all attempts to push terrorists on the Indian side into the Jammu and Kashmir but the security forces have foiled all their nefarious designs,” they said.
They added that between the period of January and December this year, security forces have neutralised 75 terrorists in different encounters and operations besides foiling infiltration attempts across the Jammu and Kashmir.
