UDHAMPUR, Dec 31: Police in Rehambal apprehended two individuals with 4.60 grams of heroin-like substance during a patrol at Malhar Morh.
A team from Police Station Rehambal, led by the Station House Officer (SHO), intercepted Vijay Sharma, son of Premu, of Jandrore, and Sushil Sharma, son of Paras Ram, of Kaghote, Tehsil Ramnagar. The suspects attempted to flee upon spotting the police but were apprehended.
Upon frisking, the heroin-like substance was recovered from their possession, and they were arrested on the spot.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 262/2024 at Police Station Rehambal under relevant sections of law. Further investigations are underway.
The police reiterated their commitment to combating drug trafficking and urged the public to report any suspicious activities. |
