Jammu, Dec 31: In a bid to ensure timely completion of developmental projects and address public grievances, Arvind Gupta, Senior BJP Leader and MLA Jammu West, today inspected the Irrigation Distributary No. 8 (Canal) in Talab Tillo area of West Constituency. He was accompanied by Mandal President Keshav Chopra, BJP State Secretary Ayodhya Gupta, and other prominent party leaders and karyakartas, including Anil Angral, Rajesh Saini, Lovekesh Gondi, Sonali Gupta, Vikas Gupta, Dr. R.K. Gupta, and Naresh. During the inspection, MLA Arvind reviewed the ongoing developmental works and assured that the efforts to revitalize the distributary would be extended to Ajit Colony. He emphasized the importance of beautifying the canal, transforming it into a clean and aesthetic part of the locality. Speaking to the residents, the senior BJP leader urged them to actively participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the canal. “Preserving our natural resources is a collective responsibility. I appeal to everyone to refrain from throwing garbage or construction debris into the canal,” he said. Arvind Gupta highlighted the necessity of preserving the irrigation canal, which plays a critical role in maintaining the water supply for agricultural purposes and enhancing the overall environment of the area. He assured the public that all pending issues concerning the distributary would be resolved promptly to ensure uninterrupted benefits for the residents. Lauding the efforts of the local administration and party workers, Arvind reiterated his commitment to the holistic development of Jammu West. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are determined to bring transformative changes in infrastructure and environmental preservation,” he added. |
