JAMMU, Jan 3: A BJP youth leader was shot at following an altercation over a parking issue here on Friday, police said. The victim, Advocate Kanav Sharma suffered a bullet injury and was hospitalised. His condition is stable, his father, senior advocate Chander Mohan Sharma told the media.

An argument broke out between the two and the accused opened fire on the victim.
The condition of the victim is stated to be stable.
FIR No. 1/2025 has been registered and three police parties are out to nab the accused.

“One of them took out a revolver and fired two rounds, one of which hit Kanav,” Sharma said.
Station House Officer Bakshi Nagar Ajaz Ahmed while talking to Early Times said, “An argument broke out between the two over some parking issue. The accused who opened fire was an employee of the Power Development Department (PDD).”
He said that FIR No. 1/2025 has been registered and three police parties are out to nab the accused.
