NEW DELHI, Jan 28: To ensure the safety and well-being of millions of devotees during Mauni Amavasya at the Mahakumbh Mela, the Uttar Pradesh government has deployed over 1000 medical personnel at Mahakumbh Nagar. With the festival attracting devotees from all over India and abroad, the government has made extensive health arrangements, including high-tech facilities for minor operations to major surgeries.A total of 300 specialist doctors have been stationed at the Super Speciality Hospital in Mahakumbh Nagar, which is equipped to handle any emergency situation. As of now, over 2 lakh patients have received outpatient department (OPD) services, and more than 2.5 lakh pathology tests have been conducted, ensuring comprehensive medical care for the vast number of pilgrims.
