JAMMU, Feb 7: The Jammu & Kashmir Excise Department, under the directions of Excise Commissioner Subash Chander Chhibber and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Sanjay Bhat, organized a sports event at Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Satwari, Jammu. The event, held under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, featured Volleyball and Badminton matches. Students participated with great enthusiasm, with Suman Rajput, Anjali Thakur, Amandeep Kour, and Anjali Sharma emerging as winners in the Badminton Doubles category. The winning teams received trophies, medals, and certificates of appreciation.
Students also took an oath to stay away from drugs and help prevent substance abuse among their peers. The initiative was appreciated for promoting awareness and encouraging students to engage in sports for a healthier future. |
