Udhampur, Mar 1: A three-day training program on “Gender Sensitization and Forensic Training”, sponsored by the National Commission for Women (NCW), New Delhi, successfully concluded at S.K. Police Academy (SKPA), Udhampur. Twenty police officers and officials from across J&K UT participated in the program. The training focused on women’s rights, gender equality, and addressing gender-based violence, along with forensic techniques for better investigation and evidence collection. Experts including Smt. Shalini Sharma, Smt. Meena Kumari, Shri Amit Prakash Seghal, Dr. Ankush Mahajan, Ms. Pallavi Singh, Inspr. Manoj Gupta, Inspr. Mehmood Ahmed, and Inspr. Sandeep Mahajan delivered insightful sessions. The valedictory function was graced by Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, IPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor, Trainings), SKPA, who urged participants to advocate for gender equality and apply their training in real-world scenarios. The course was coordinated by Inspr.
