| Don’t sit in lobby: Assembly secretariat to media persons, PAs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 7: Assembly Secretariat on Friday directed media persons and personal assistants of MLAs not to sit in the lobby unnecessarily during session hours. A circular issued by the deputy secretary of the secretariat reads: “The Assembly lobby is specifically meant for hon’ble members only. However, it has been found that some officers/officials, media persons and PAs of the hon’ble members are unnecessarily sitting in the said lobby during the session hours creating inconvenience to the hon’ble members.”
“The authorities have taken serious cognizance of this issue and desired for issuance of strict instructions in this regard.
Therefore, all the officers/officials, media persons and PAs of the hon’ble members are hereby directed not to sit unnecessarily in the said lobby during the session hours,” the circular said.
“Henceforth, any defiance to this circular will be viewed seriously,” it added. |
