Jammu, Apr 28: Adding to the Congress’s troubles, senior leader and former J&K Pradesh Congress Committee chief Saifuddin Soz sparked yet another controversy. Speaking to the media, Soz said India should accept Pakistan’s denial of involvement for now and allow investigations to establish facts. "What happened in Pahalgam was tragic and unacceptable. If Pakistan claims it was not involved, let us accept that for the time being and trust our investigative agencies to find the truth," he said. Soz emphasized that dialogue, not military confrontation, is the only path forward between the two neighbours. His remarks drew a sharp rebuke from the BJP, which accused the Congress of undermining national unity during a critical period. |
