Workshop on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan organized at UIPS

GadiGarh, Apr 28: Unique International Public School organized an awareness workshop under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan with the objective of educating students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraging them to lead a healthy and responsible life.
The program began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Randeep Kaur, Incharge of the event, who also formally opened the program. In her address, she highlighted the importance of awareness, discipline, and collective responsibility in building a drug-free society.
The event was graced by the distinguished Chief Guest, S. Jasmeet Singh, JKAS, RTO Jammu, who delivered an inspiring speech. He emphasized the importance of youth participation in building a drug-free nation and encouraged students to act as responsible citizens.
Managing Director, Ms. Nirlep Kour, shared her valuable thoughts and spoke a few lines highlighting the importance of awareness and strong values among students.
Vice Principal, Mr. Ashok Bhasin, also addressed the gathering and spoke about the role of education in guiding students towards a healthy and focused life.
Administrator, Ms. Gagandeep Bedi, expressed her views and spoke about the need for collective efforts to make society free from substance abuse.
The workshop included informative sessions and interactive activities that helped students understand the serious consequences of drug addiction and the importance of making wise choices in life.
The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by the Chairman, *S. Jasbir Singh,* who expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, school management, staff, and students for their valuable presence and contribution in making the event a success.
The initiative marked a significant step towards spreading awareness and reinforcing the vision of a drug-free India.
