Poonch, Apr 28: An Awam Meet was organised by the Indian Army at Marhote on 28 April 2026. The event witnessed the participation of Sarpanches, Numberdars, Chowkidars and Maulvis from Mundomar. A total of 20 civilians attended the interaction.
The meeting provided an open platform to discuss matters of mutual cooperation, developmental concerns and ways to further enhance civil-military synergy in the region.
The exchange of views reflected a shared commitment towards peace, security and overall progress of the area.
Following the interaction, a tea session was organised, which further strengthened the rapport between the Army and the local community, fostering an atmosphere of trust, goodwill and partnership.
