CHANDIGARH, May 1: MP Satnam Singh Sandhu Announces Rs 11 Lakh from MPLAD Fund to Brahm Swaroop Dham, Pojewal for Education of Girls in Doaba Region, Also Announces Skill Center for Providing Skill Training to Girls in the Region
MP Satnam Singh Sandhu Pays Tribute to Sri Sri 1008 Brahmleen Sri Satguru Brahma Nand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale on His 24th Nirvana Day at Shri Brahm Swaroop Dham, Pojewal 1 May -- Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Satnam Singh Sandhu participated in the 24th Nirvana Day (Anniversary of Salvation) of Sri Sri 1008 Brahmleen Sri Satguru Brahma Nand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale, a great philanthropist widely revered for his contributions to education, healthcare, welfare of cows and social service in rural Punjab especially Doaba region and Haryana.
MP Satnam Singh Sandhu paid his tribute to Sri Sri 1008 Brahmleen Sri Satguru Brahma Nand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale on the conclusion of this sacred three-day event, held under the patronage of Shri Satguru Vedanta Acharya Swami Shri Chetna Nand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale (current Gurugaddi Nashin) Ji from on 29 April. Besides prominent spiritual leaders including Sri Mahant Daya Sagar Ji of Sri Garibdasiyya Sarb Uch Peeth Chudani Dham Haryana and saints of the Garibdasiyya sect, Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini was also present during the congregation.
Speaking on occasion, MP Satnam Singh Sandhu said, "Sri Sri 1008 Brahmleen Sri Satguru Brahma Nand Ji has done unparalleled work in the backward region of Doaba in the field of education because education is the only thing that can transform a society. As half of our population are women, the work done for the education of daughters is great service to the society. The results of this work for the education of daughters are in front of us. Today, the daughters of this poor neighborhood are preparing for IAS and IPS. And by the grace of Guru Maharaj, the children of this area who are getting education in educational institutions run by the Maharaj Bhuriwale Garib Dassi Education Trust,".
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has talked about the rights of girls for the education of girls from the first day. When he became the Prime Minister of the country in 2014, the first mission he gave was to save the girl child and educate the girl child in the country through Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign and results of this work in the last 12 years are before us. In order to give more opportunities to our daughters, we should also work for their skills at schools and colleges. PM Modi has launched another very good program for Lakhpati Didi for our daughter because he wants the income of every daughter of our India should be in lakhs so that she does not depend on anyone," he added.
MP Satnam Singh Sandhu announced to donate Rs 11 lakhs from my MPLAD fund to Brahm Swaroop Dham, Pojewal for furthering education of the girls. He also announced to open a Skill Development Center in the area for providing skill training to girls.
Shri Satguru Brahmanand Ji Bhuri Wale (born Girdhari Singh) was a prominent spiritual leader and saint of the Bhuri Wale (Garib Dassi) sect, widely revered for his contributions to education and social welfare in rural Punjab and Haryana. He famously prioritised building "Temples of Knowledge" (schools and colleges) over traditional religious structures. His mission focused on serving the "Gau (cow), Garib (poor), and Kanya (girl).
