Srinagar, May 11: The X account of Iltija Mufti, the daughter of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President and former J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, has been withheld in India. The platform said that the action has been taken in response to a legal demand. It announced the withholding of Iltija Mufti’s account days after the Cyber Police Kashmir registered an FIR against her following the circulation of a video clip featuring late separatist Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
Attempts by users to access her X account in India came to a notice stating that access to the account has been restricted in compliance with a legal request. |
