17th EPS Industry Connect - The Energy Exchange concludes successfully in Jammu

JAMMU, July 8: The 17th Edition of EPS Industry Connect - The Energy Exchange, organized by Industrial Outlook in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA), concluded successfully at Radisson Blu, Jammu, bringing together over 250+ policymakers, industry leaders, renewable energy developers, EPC companies, manufacturers, investors, utilities, and technology providers to discuss the future of clean energy in the Union Territory.
The conference, themed "Powering Jammu & Kashmir - India's Mountain Energy Frontier," featured insightful keynote addresses, panel discussions, and technical sessions focusing on Hydro-Solar Synergy, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Smart Grids, EV Infrastructure, Open Access, Captive Solar, Green Tourism, and the evolving Renewable Energy Policy & Investment Landscape.
The event was graced by Ms. Babila Rakwal, JKAS, Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Science & Technology Department and Chairperson, JAKEDA Executive Committee, as the Chief Guest with the presence of Sh. Deepak Sharma, Sr. Technical Officer, JAKEDA and Er. Rahul Rathore, Asst Engineer and the vendors of JAKEDA i.e. Orkan Energy, Ecoepicsolar and Kashmir Renewable Energy. Eminent industry experts and business leaders shared practical insights on accelerating renewable energy deployment, strengthening grid resilience, and unlocking investment opportunities across Jammu & Kashmir.
The conference provided a collaborative platform for government representatives and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas, address implementation challenges, and foster strategic partnerships that will support the region's transition towards a sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon energy future.
