| Reasi police continues legal action against narcotics network | | | Early Times Report REASI, July 8: Reasi Police, under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, continues to take firm legal action against those involved in narcotics-related offences and the conveyances used for the commission of such crimes. On 07.07.2026, Reasi Police obtained an order under Section 52-A of the NDPS Act from the Hon'ble Munsiff Court, Katra, for the disposal of a conveyance involved in an NDPS case. The order pertains to the disposal of an Auto Three-Wheeler bearing Registration No. JK14L-0421, which was seized in connection with FIR No. 217/2026 registered under Sections 8/21/22/25 of the NDPS Act. The court order has been obtained to facilitate further legal proceedings for the disposal of the seized vehicle in accordance with the provisions of law. Reasi Police remains committed to dismantling the infrastructure supporting drug trafficking by taking stringent action not only against offenders but also against the vehicles and properties used in the commission of NDPS offences. Such measures are aimed at creating a strong deterrent against drug peddling and reinforcing the fight against the menace of narcotics.
