Ramnagar, July 10: On 10 Jul 26, in a solemn ceremony, Sh N Ranbir Singh Commandant 84 Bn hoisted the Indian National Flag on a 61 feet High Mast, on the bank of Chenab River, at the premises of Tac Hq 84 Bn Chanderkote Ramban. The ceremony was attended by Sh Vikram Singh Second in Command, Sh Ajay Kumar Dy Cdt, Dr Anantha Krishnan SMO Dy Cdt, Asstt Cdts Sh Lakhwinder Singh, Sh Ashok Singh Tomar, Sh Deepak Shukla, Sh Rupesh Kumar, Sh Vikash Kumar, Sh Shree Ram Meena, families, personnel of 84 Bn CRPF and Media personnel. During the function, the Rastriya Salute was presented to the Tricolor. The National Flag hoisted on a 61 feet High Mast is one of the highest in the Ramban Town area. Speaking during the function, the Commandant stated that the Tricolor symbolizes the Nation’s Unity, Integrity, and the hope, dreams, progress, peace and aspirations of India, the emerging global power. Especially, for the CRPF personnel, the towering Tricolor stands as a source of inspiration, fostering patriotism, national pride, and a spirit of selfless service and readiness to sacrifice for the Nation, across all ranks, and unwavering commitment of the Force towards safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the Nation. During the ceremony, the National Anthem was played, and all those present paid tribute to the National Flag with honor, dignity and pride. |
