Jammu, July 10: The annual Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) commenced on Friday morning in Belagavi, Karnataka, with top functionaries of the organisation gathering to deliberate on organisational expansion, review ongoing initiatives, and chart the roadmap for the remaining events of the RSS centenary year. The high-level meeting is being attended by RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, all Sah Sarkaryavahs, heads and joint heads of various All-India functional departments, members of the RSS executive, Kshetra Pracharaks, Sah Kshetra Pracharaks, Prant Pracharaks and Sah Pracharaks from all 46 organisational provinces across the country. Also participating are the All-India organisational secretaries of various Sangh-inspired organisations. According to the RSS, the meeting will undertake a comprehensive review of the training camps conducted at different organisational levels since March 2026. Discussions will also focus on the implementation of action plans at the grassroots level through the organisation's daily shakhas and strategies to further strengthen outreach and organisational activities. A key agenda of the meeting is the review of the expansion of shakhas undertaken as part of the RSS centenary celebrations. The leadership will assess the progress made so far and deliberate on an ambitious plan to further expand the network of shakhas across the country in the coming months. The participants will also review the programmes organised during the RSS centenary year and finalise plans for the remaining events scheduled before the conclusion of the centenary celebrations. In addition, discussions will be held on the nationwide travel programme of Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat for 2026-27. The RSS said that the remaining programmes of its centenary year (2025-26) will continue until Vijayadashami on October 20, 2026, when the year-long commemorative activities are scheduled to conclude. The annual meeting is expected to formulate the organisational strategy for the next phase of the Sangh's expansion and outreach across the country. |
