| SSP Reasi holds Thana Diwas, reviews security arrangements for SANJY & BANJY | | | Early Times Report REASI, July 10: As part of the ongoing public outreach initiative of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi today chaired a "Thana Diwas" programme at the Community Facilitation Centre, Pouni, along with Addl. SP Reasi, Dy.SP PC Pouni, SHO Police Station Pouni and I/C Police Post Bhambla. The programme witnessed the participation of respectable citizens from different sections of society, who projected various issues and grievances of public importance. SSP Reasi patiently heard the participants and assured them that all genuine grievances would be addressed on priority in coordination with the concerned departments wherever required. He also appealed to the public to maintain close coordination with the Police by sharing reliable information and reporting any suspicious activities to ensure peace and security. Following the interaction, SSP Reasi inspected Police Station Pouni and reviewed the security arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) and the forthcoming Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra (BANJY). Meanwhile, Thana Diwas programmes were also organised at Zero Morh (Reasi), Lower Dubri (Mahore) and Government Middle School Kanthan (Arnas) under the supervision of the respective Sub-Divisional Police Officers and SHOs. During these programmes, public grievances were heard, awareness was imparted on the ill effects of drug abuse, and citizens were encouraged to actively support the ongoing Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan and cooperate with the Police in maintaining peace, law and order. |
