JAMMU, Sept 3: The 51st Foundation Day of BALGRAN - A Charitable Home for Children was celebrated on 3rd September 2026 with great enthusiasm and fervour at Balgran, Channi Rama, Jammu in which Arun Gupta, President, Chamber of Commerce & Industries was the Chief Guest & presided over by V.K. Raina President of Balgran. The function was attended by large number of Citizens. Members of the Balgran & Parents of the inmates including ex- inmates.
On the occasion, Er. V.K. Gupta, Hon. Secretary, BALGRAN, welcomed the distinguished guests, donors and ex-inmates of Balgran. He highlighted the various activities and achievements of BALGRAN and also appreciated the continued support extended by individuals, institutions and agencies towards the welfare and development of the children.
In his address, he highlighted the important role played by BALGRAN in providing education, care and opportunities to children and helping them in pursuing their educational aspirations and goals in life. He also acknowledged the contribution of donors, well-wishers and supporters in enabling BALGRAN to continue its mission.
The children of BALGRAN presented a colourful, thrilling and captivating cultural programme, showcasing their talent through various cultural and dance performances anchored by Mr. Imran Ahmed & Anchal. Which kept the audience spellbound. The programme commenced with Vandematram (National Song) followed by Jana Gana Mana (National Anthem) & lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest it was followed by a series of cultural and dance items which were highly appreciated by the gathering.
V.K. Raina, President, BALGRAN, while welcoming the Chief Guest & other dignitaries highlighted the role of prominent citizens played for the growth & development of Balgran. He also appreciated the services rendered by the members of the Balgran.
Chief Guest Arun Gupta while concluding the function appreciated the efforts of the members of Balgran in providing different types of facilities to the inmates of Balgran. He assured of providing support in all type of assistance for the development of the Balgran.
Er. Ravinder Gupta Hon. Treasurer of Balgran presented the vote of thanks & expressed gratitude to all the distinguished guests, donors, ex-inmates, supporters and various agencies who have contributed towards the growth and development of BALGRAN.
