JAMMU, Sept 3: Rich Harvest School celebrated Janmashtami with great devotion, enthusiasm and festive fervour at the school amphitheatre. The celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of love, wisdom, joy and devotion associated with the birth of Lord Krishna.
The programme commenced with a soulful morning prayer, "Achutam Keshavam," presented by the School Choir, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. This was followed by a melodious musical performance and a vibrant dance presentation by the students, depicting the divine charm and playful spirit of Lord Krishna.
A captivating solo music performance by Param added to the festive spirit of the occasion.
Samiksha spoke about the relevance of Lord Krishna's message of righteousness, love and duty in today's world.
Anita Bhatia, Head of the Institute, addressed the students and staff, extending warm Janmashtami greetings to everyone. She encouraged the students to imbibe the timeless values of truth, compassion, courage, wisdom and righteousness exemplified by Lord Krishna and to apply these teachings in their daily lives.
The highlight of the celebration was the enthusiastic Dahi Handi Celebration, which filled the amphitheatre with excitement and cheers. The entire programme was anchored gracefully by Hargun.
