JAMMU, Sept 3: Janmashtami Celebrated with Devotion and Joy at Guru Nanak Public High School Gole Gujral Road Jammu with great enthusiasm, devotion and spiritual fervour on the school premises.
The celebration began with a special assembly highlighting the significance of Lord Krishna's birth and his message of love, righteousness and compassion. Students presented beautiful cultural programmes, including devotional songs, dances, poems etc The little ones added charm to the celebration by dressing up as Krishna and Radha in colourful traditional attire. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and encouraged the children to imbibe Lord Krishna's teachings of truth, kindness, courage and duty in their daily lives. The celebration concluded with warm wishes for peace, happiness and prosperity for all. |
