| Indian Army commences specialised coaching programme | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Sept 8: In a significant initiative aimed at empowering youth from remote and rural areas, the Indian Army has commenced a 60-day Specialised Coaching Programme for Sainik & Military School aspirants at Village Bhandarkut, District Kishtwar under Operation Sadbhavana. A total of 40 aspiring students are participating in the programme, which commenced on 07 Sep 2026 and is scheduled to conclude on 04 Nov 2026.
The coaching programme has been designed to provide focused academic guidance and structured preparation to students aspiring to join Sainik & Military Schools. The training focuses on strengthening fundamental concepts, enhancing problem-solving abilities, developing examination-oriented aptitude and improving overall academic preparedness to enable students to compete effectively in entrance examinations.
The programme includes specialised coaching aligned with Sainik & Military School entrance examination requirements, supported by expert faculty and experienced trainers. Regular tests, mock examinations and assessments are being conducted to monitor progress and identify areas requiring improvement. Additionally, doubt-clearing sessions, remedial coaching and personalised mentoring are being provided to address individual learning gaps. The students are also being guided on effective time management, examination strategies and confidence-building techniques.
The initiative reflects the Indian Army's commitment towards nurturing the aspirations of youth from rural and underprivileged backgrounds. |
