AKHNOOR, Sept 30: As part of the 'Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang' programme, a vibrant Rangoli was created at Government High School, Sunail, in Akhnoor Mandal, showcasing the welfare schemes, development initiatives and public-centric programmes of the Narendra Modi-led Central Government. The initiative used the traditional art of Rangoli to spread awareness about government programmes while highlighting the themes of seva, development, social responsibility and nation-building. The Rangoli creatively portrayed initiatives associated with women empowerment, financial inclusion, healthcare, housing, sanitation, agriculture, rural development, education and support for economically weaker sections, reflecting the government's focus on taking welfare initiatives to the grassroots. The programme was attended by BJP J&K Vice President and Convenor of 'Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang' Adv. Rekha Mahajan, along with Akhnoor District President Kuldeep Sharma, Pradesh Yuva Morcha General Secretary Ranjit, District General Secretary Surinder, Shakti, Anil, Gafour Ahmed and other participants. Speaking on the occasion, Rekha Mahajan said the Rangoli was much more than a cultural artwork, describing it as a creative representation of the government's welfare initiatives and the development journey of the country. "The colours of this Rangoli represent the colours of service, development and the aspirations of a new India. Through 'Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang', students and citizens are presenting the various welfare schemes and initiatives of the Modi Government in a creative and meaningful manner," she said. |
