JAMMU, Sept 30: The Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu, today bid a warm and affectionate farewell to Idrees Bashir Ahmed, Joint Director Agriculture Extension Jammu, Sh. Guldev Raj, Agriculture Information Officer (FTC) and Sh. Dev Raj, Helper (Development Section, Directorate of Agriculture Jammu), who superannuated today after rendering over 35 years of dedicated service to the department.
A formal farewell function was organized at the Auditorium, Kisan Kendra, Talab Tillo, Jammu, to honour the retiring employees for their valuable contributions to the functioning of the department and the welfare of the farming community. Anil Gupta, Director Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare, Jammu, along with Aman Jyoti Sharma, Joint Director Agriculture (SLUB/Farms), and Sanjeev Rai Gupta, Deputy Director Agriculture (Central), Jammu, besides sectoral heads and senior officers, graced the occasion and extended their best wishes to the retirees.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Gupta, Director Agriculture, appreciated the exemplary services rendered by the retiring employees and commended their professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment towards agricultural development and farmer welfare. He said that their long years of service had contributed significantly to strengthening the functioning of the department and serving the farming community. He added that their sincerity, discipline and work ethic would continue to serve as an example for their colleagues.
Aman Jyoti Sharma, Joint Director Agriculture (SLUB/Farms), while speaking on the occasion, appreciated the valuable contribution of the retirees and acknowledged their long association with the department. He highlighted their dedication to assigned responsibilities and said that their experience and commitment had contributed meaningfully to the department's functioning. He conveyed his best wishes to them for a healthy, peaceful and fulfilling post-retirement life.
Sanjeev Rai Gupta, Deputy Director Agriculture (Central), Jammu, also expressed his appreciation for the valuable services rendered by the retirees and acknowledged their long-standing contribution to the department. He conveyed his heartfelt wishes for their good health, happiness and success in their post-retirement life.
Officers and staff from Directorate of Agriculture, Joint Director Extension office, Farmers Training Centre Jammu and various districts of Jammu Division also joined the occasion and extended their warm wishes to the retiring employees, appreciating their long-standing service and dedication. As a mark of respect and recognition, mementoes were presented to the retirees on behalf of the department.
The programme concluded with farewell addresses, sharing of experiences and expressions of gratitude, as officers and staff wished the retirees a peaceful, healthy and fulfilling life ahead. |
