SHIMLA, Sept 30: As part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign-2026, SJVN organised a "Safai Mitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivir" at its Corporate Headquarters, Shimla, today. The Shivir was inaugurated by Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN in esteemed presence of Sh. Rajesh Kumar Chandel, Director (Projects), SJVN, Sh. Pankaj Porwal, Chief Vigilance Officer, SJVN and senior officials.
On this occasion, a Special Health Camp was organised for Safai Mitras, providing them with essential health screening and medical services. A medical team from Himachal Pradesh State Health Department conducted blood tests and blood pressure check-ups and provided X-ray facilities. The initiative was aimed at promoting greater awareness of health and ensuring the well-being of Safai Mitras.
As part of the initiative, a felicitation ceremony was organised for Safai Mitras for their valuable contribution in Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign. Best-performing Safai Mitras and volunteers were honoured for their active role in housekeeping, sweeping and support services. The initiative reaffirms SJVN's commitment to the safety, dignity, health and well-being of its Safai Mitras. |
