| Super 30 IAS/KAS programme at BGSBU hosts interactive session with IAS Officer Aakash Garg | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: A special guest lecture for IAS/KAS aspirants was organised under the banner of the Super 30 IAS/KAS Coaching Programme, in collaboration with the District Administration, Rajouri, as part of the broader initiative of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. The programme was organised under the guidance and mentorship of Sh. Ravi Kumar Sihag, IAS, Registrar, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, whose vision and support have been instrumental in strengthening initiatives aimed at providing quality guidance and opportunities to aspiring civil servants.
The guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Aakash Garg, IAS, Batch 2025, cadre AGMUT, who is currently posted as Assistant Commissioner, UT. He interacted with the IAS aspirants and shared his experiences and insights into the preparation strategy for the Civil Services Examination. Drawing upon his own journey and experience, Mr. Garg discussed various aspects of competitive examination preparation and highlighted the importance of disciplined study, consistency, conceptual clarity and a focused approach. During his interaction with the aspirants, Mr. Garg elaborated on the overall nature and demands of the IAS examination, including the importance of understanding the examination pattern, developing a systematic preparation strategy and maintaining consistency throughout the preparation journey.
Professor Jawaid Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University appreciated the Super 30 IAS/KAS Coaching Programme and emphasised the importance of providing focused guidance and quality mentorship to young aspirants preparing for the Civil Services Examination. He observed that interactions with accomplished civil servants such as Aakash Garg provide students with valuable insights, motivation and a clearer understanding of the preparation required for competitive examinations.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Tanvir Ahmed, Committee Member, Super 30 IAS/KAS Coaching Programme who warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and the participating IAS aspirants. He highlighted the significance of such initiatives in providing aspiring civil servants with direct access to experienced officers and mentors.
The session was marked by active participation from the IAS aspirants, who had the opportunity to listen to the experiences of a successful civil servant and gain practical perspectives on civil services preparation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Shachi Sood, Committee Member, Super 30 IAS/KAS Coaching Programme who expressed gratitude to Mr. Aakash Garg, IAS, for sharing his valuable time, experiences and guidance with the aspirants. She also acknowledged the support and cooperation of the District Administration and all those associated with the organisation of the programme. |
