JAMMU, Sept 30: A Seminar on Rajbhasha Hindi was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Jammu on 30th sep. 2026. The objective of the seminar was to encourage the maximum use of the official language Hindi in official work and to increase awareness and interest towards Hindi.
On this occasion, S.P. Vaid, Director General of Police (DGP) (Retired) J&K UT, was present as the Chief Guest. Harshit Mishra, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Hari Singh, Assistant Commissioner, Islam Khan, Assistant Commissioner and Rajbhasha Officer, Kanchan Lal Meena, Section Officer (Administration), and Harjeet Rahi, Section Officer (Accounts ), along with other officials and employees of the regional office were also present.
At the beginning of the program, the ceremony was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp. On this occasion, Kanchan Lal Meena, Section Officer (Administration) welcomed and greeted the Chief Guest S.P. Vaid ( IPS) and other dignitaries and officers present in the program. In his welcome address, he expressed gratitude to all the guests, present officers, and employees for their participation in the program.
With the lighting of the lamp, the program formally commenced. In the seminar, various topics related to the maximum use of the official language Hindi in official work and the promotion and propagation of Hindi were discussed. Apart from this, various topics related to the promotion of Rajbhasha Hindi, use of Hindi in official work, and extensive promotion and propagation of Hindi were discussed. The officers and employees present in the program expressed their commitment towards the maximum use of Hindi. Through the program, a message was given to adopt Hindi easily and effectively in daily behavior along with official work.
On this occasion, Islam Khan, Assistant Commissioner and Rajbhasha Officer, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jammu Region presented detailed information about the Hindi programs organized during Hindi Maah 2026. He told that during Hindi Maah many activities and competitions including Hindi dictation, essay writing, poetry recitation, and Hindi exhibition were organized, in which officers and employees participated enthusiastically. Appreciating the active participation and enthusiasm of the employees in various programs, he said that activities of this type plays an important role in creating a positive environment towards the Rajbhasha Hindi.
During the program, Harshit Mishra, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jammu Region presented a detailed description of various Rajbhasha activities organized during Hindi Maah. 2026 in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office Jammu and iin various Kendriya Vidyalayas of Jammu Region. He said that during Hindi Maah, various competitions and programs were organized with the active participation of officers and employees, in which all participated enthusiastically. He called upon the officers and employees present in the program to develop a feeling of respect, love, and pride towards the Hindi language and called for maximum use of the official language Hindi in official work. He said that respect and intimacy towards the official language Hindi should not be limited only to formal occasions but should become a part of daily official work. Expressing gratitude to the Honorable Kendriya Union Home Minister, Government of India, he said that extending the duration of Hindi Fortnight (Pakhwada) to celebrate it in the form of Hindi Month shows the respect and commitment towards the official language Hindi. He said that through Hindi Month, officers and employees get more time and opportunity for the use, promotion, and propagation of the official language Hindi and to increase awareness towards it. He termed this initiative as a step towards further strengthening the feeling of respect and pride towards Hindi . |
