| Hr. Edu deptt leaves majority of over staying physics professors untouched | | |

Jammu, Aug 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education department has not touched majority of overstaying Assistant Professors of Physics, working in various colleges of city, in the recent transfer order.
According to the documents furnished by Higher Education department under RTI Act, a list of 86 Assistant Professors of physics was provided out of which 40 have been overstaying and in the recent transfer order issued, only 13 professors of Jammu province have been touched and majority of overstaying remain inert to transfers.
According to the RTI reply, the overstaying list include Assistant Professor Sudha Sehgal, presently posted at Women College Gandhi Nagar, who has been staying in Jammu city colleges for the last nearly 27 years, in gross violation of transfer policy. "She had remained posted in GGM Science college from year 1989 to 1999, followed by her transfer to WC Parade from 1999 to 2008 and again to WC Gandhi Nagar from 2008 to till today", the reply read as.
Hans Raj has been staying in the Jammu city colleges for the last eleven years. From 2005 to 2011, he was in MAM college and from 2011 to 2013, he was at WC Gandhi Nagar and later transferred to WC Parade and till today, he is posted there.
BD Sehgal, a resident of Kachi Chawni Jammu, had been overstaying in GGC Science College since 5/2010 and is recently transferred to Government Degree College Udhampur. Renu Vakil has been staying in city colleges for the last 17 years (since 1999).
Narayan Dutt has been staying in city colleges for the last 16 years (since 2000), Karan Singh has been staying in city colleges for the last 15 years. Singh had stayed in MAM College from 2001 to 2011, but for a brief period he was at GDC Samba from 8/2011 to 4/2012, after which he is in Jammu city colleges.
Kuldeep Raj had been staying in GGM Science College for the last eight years (since 2008) and has now been transferred to GDC Udhampur, while Raj Kiran Sharma, who has been staying in Kathua college for the last 15 years (since 2001) has now been transferred to GDC Ramnagar.
Sunil Dutt has been staying in city colleges for the last eight years, apart from his brief tenure in GDC Kathua from 4/2012 to 6/2013.
Ravinder Kour has been staying in WC Udhampur for the last 11 years (since 2005), while Tussain Hussain Shan has been staying in GGM Science College for the last 8 years (since 2008), the RTI reply reads.
Ajay Singh Dadwal has been staying at GGM Science College since 12/2009, (7 years) while Dinesh has been staying at GGM Science College since 12/2009 (7 years), besides Ramesh Kumar Bhat had been staying in Jammu city colleges since last eight years and has now been transferred to GDC RS Pura.
Moreover, Mohammad Iqbal Raina, who had been staying in GDC Rajouri for the last nine years (since 2007) has been transferred to GDC Mendhar, while Balwinder Kour has been staying in GGM Science College for the last 7 years (12/2009).
Nidhi has been staying in GGM Science College since 12/2009, while Reena Rajput has been staying in GDC Samba for the last 8 years (since 2008), besides Anita Sharma has been staying in GDC Udhampur since 8/2008 and Poonam Angotra at WC Gandhi Nagar since 7/2011.
Devinder Kumar Sharma has been staying in Jammu city colleges for the last six years apart from his stay for 10 months in GDC Kathua, while Prabeet Kour has been staying in MAM College since 12/2009, while as Shammi Kumar at WC Parade and WC Gandhi Nagar from 12/2009.
Ashok Kumar has been posted at GGM Science College since 12/2009, Naresh Kumar at GDC Kathua since 12/2009, Pankaj Bandhoria at MAM College Jammu from 12/2009 to 3/2013 and at GGM Science College from 3/2013.
Suram Singh at GDC Kathua since 12/2009, Neeraj Gupta had been staying at Jammu city colleges since 12/2009 and has now been transferred to GDC Ramban. He was at GGM Science College from 12/2009 to 5/2012 and for a brief period from 5/2012 to 4/2013 he was posted at GDC Akhnoor but again transferred to WC Parade but now has been transferred to GDC Ramban.
Desh Bandu Sharma has been staying in Jammu city colleges since 12/2009, while Monika Bhat at Jammu city colleges since 12/2009, while Amita Dua at WC Kathua since 12/2009, Rakesh Kumar Pandit at GDC Bhaderwah and Madhvi Manohar Lal at GDC Kathua since 12/2009. Sanjeev Goswami has been staying at Jammu city colleges since 2009, he was posted in GGM Science College from 12/2009 to 4/2012 and for one year he was at GDC Samba and again returned to GGM Science College in 4/2013. Anju Kumari has been staying in Jammu city colleges since 12/2009, while Bandhan Sharma also in Jammu city colleges from 12/2009, the reply said. |
