After making youth as cannon fodder, separatists threaten political workers

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 19: As the Kashmir unrest entered into its 41st day on Friday, separatists at the behest of their masters sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) have asked their henchmen to intimidate the mainstream politicians across Kashmir and seek their resignations so that they are unable to act as a bridge between people and the government.
It's in place to mention here that separatists have warned the mainstream politicians of 'social boycott' if they don't tender their resignation.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Present situation is reminiscent of the 1990s, when almost all political activists across the Valley submitted their resignations to save their lives. Now the same situation has been created for the political workers. They fear for their lives and are announcing their disassociation from the political parties."
A source said, "Separatists have been asked by their bosses to target the mainstream political workers and create fear psychosis among them. This is being done to ensure that entire system gets paralyzed and the people who could act as a bridge between the government and the common masses at any point of time are sidelined."
A source said, "Separatists in Kashmir are on a big mission as lot of planning and money has gone into it. The job to build the ground for the present unrest in Kashmir was initially assigned to JKLF Chief Yasin Malik, who held joint meetings with Hurriyat dove Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani. He (Malik) held meetings with traders, transporters and others and had informed them well in advance that Kashmir will erupt."
He said, "In the initial phase separatists provoked the youth and got them killed by pitting them against the security forces. In the next phase they started issuing calendars threatening the mainstream politicians and workers. They (separatists) were assigned the job to paralyze Kashmir and they have succeeded in their nefarious designs with an active support of militants and Pakistan."
Sources said, "Workers of mainstream parties have been asked by their leaders to maintain a low profile and do whatever they can to save their lives as the henchmen of separatists are out to provoke people against them."
They said, "Separatists are least bothered about the plight of people and are leaving no stone unturned to appease their bosses who have assured them of reward and perks. It's unfortunate that a few people are trying to fill their coffers by taking entire Kashmir as hostage and are trying to pit people against each other."
