Jammu, Aug 19: A woman today succumbed to her burns while a girl sustained severe burn injuries while cooking food at her residence here.
Rajni Devi (45), wife of Shambu Nath of Katra, was admitted to the GMCH here on July 24 with severe burns. She succumbed to her injuries today. The body was handed over to her family members for last rites, police sources said.
Meanwhile, Ashu Devi (19), daughter of Madan Lal of Reasi, sustained 40 pc burn injuries while cooking food at her residence. She was undergoing treatment at GMCH here.
Police have registered a case in this regard.
