Kathua, Aug.19: One month comes to an end in missing of Village Level Worker VLW employed in Rural Development Department RDD at Dinga Amb, 20 km here from Kathua town but both District and Police administration have allegedly failed to find out Ashok Khajuria, VLW hailing from Mirpur under jurisdiction of Police station Rajbagh Kathua.
Frustrated family members, who staged huge protest demonstrations, blocked National Highway, approached DDC Kathua, SSP, MLA and other concerned people during these missing days and appealed to expeditious the look-out operation launched by district Police. Family members point out Police's search operation and demanded to set up Special Investigation Team SIT.
Pertinently, Ashok Khajuria, VLW having Manglore- Dinga Amb RDD block went in field but his mobile phone found switched off after few hours. When he did not come back at home in evening family members tried to know whereabouts and registered missing report in P/S Rajbagh but got nothing than assurance. |
