Jammu, Aug 19: Honouring the true spirit of brotherhood, 'little sisters' of DPS Jammu, under its Integrated Child Development Programme (ICDP), celebrated the festival of 'Rakhabhandan' with the BSF Jawans at Akhnoor here today. A team of 30 students and 5 staff members left for Akhnoor to tie handmade rakhis on the wrists of BSF Jawans of the 89 Battalion and to present them with handmade cards, specially prepared by them, during the heritage week celebrated in the school, a week ago. The school's ICDP program is designed for overall holistic development of the children and focuses on enhancement of their innate skills and social responsibilities. |
