Jammu, Aug 19: DPS Jammu participated in Inter DPS Dance competition- 2016 organized by Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi held at DPS Chandigarh on 6 August 2016. The theme of the competition was 'TAMSO MAA JOYTIRGAMYA" (from darkness to light), in which about 18 teams participated. DPS Jammu bagged 3rd runner up position and also won the award for the best rhythmic and synchronized performance. The theme was based on the true story of one Aditya Tiwari, an acclaimed youngest single father of his adopted son, Binny. The participants were Trisha Mahajan XII-B, Rajnandni XI-J ,Anenya Verma X-B, Bhavya Jain X-A, Gauri Sharma X-A, Khushi Anand IX-J, Arpitaa Mang-otra IX-D, Antra Dhar VIII -B and Tarini Mangotra VII-B. The dance was choreographed by Shalini Pradhan. |
