Jammu, Aug 19: Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu will be organizing two days National Women Painters' Camp from August 26 in collaboration with Kala Kendra, Jammu. According to press release the camp is dedicated to Late Gobind Kaur, first woman sculptor of J&K State. Thirteen artists of National repute from inside and outside the state are to participate in this camp. JKCCA is working with missionary zeal for the promotion, propagation and development of art, culture & literature since 1999. This is a registered NGO under Societies Act and abiding by its rules. JKCCA has so far organized hundreds of art and cultural activities in and outside the state at national and International levels. These activities include- organization of Art Exhibitions, Art Workshops/ Camps, Seminars, Art Competitions, Musical, Dance and song competitions and programmes, literary seminars, book release functions and so on. According to O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA painter Pratima Singh, Lucknow, Gaytri, HoshiarPur, Dr. Amita Khare, Gwalior, Bhawna K. Sharma, Mohali, Nisha Soni, Kota, Harsimrat Kaur, Jalandhar, Amrit Kaur, Anuradha Devi, Jatinder Kaur and Rekha Gupte from Jammu, Bhawna Marwah, Meerut, Mala Chawla and Simarjeet Kaur Bhullar, Amritsar will be participating in the camp. |
