6th state level inspire award exhibition held 12/3/2016 10:37:16 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 3: State Institute of Education Jammu organised one day 6th State Level Inspire Award Exhibition 2016, a programme under department of science and technology (DST) Government of India, at Govt. Girls higher Secondary school Shastri Nagar Jammu today today. In this exhibition 30 thirty students of different schools of the state selected at District level Inspire Award Exhibition Participated. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the occasion Director of school education Jammu Babila Rukwal (KAS) by lighting the traditional lamp in presence of large gathering of students and educators. The chief Guest visited every exhibit/model and interacted with the students, She appreciated the innovative ideas reflected through models and emphasised to put the ideas into practical productive utility so that real fruit of such exhibition reaches out to the society. All the exhibits were evaluated by a jury comprising of Arun Bharti( Deptt. Of Physics), Gita Sharma(Deptt of Botany) and Inderjeet Kour (Deptt. of Chemistry) university of Jammu. The best innovative science exhibits displayed in the exhibition which bagged 1st , 2nd& 3rd Prizes were 1st Karun Sharma and Gourav Sagotra from BBN H/S vijaypur,(Samba) 2nd Sumit Khajuria GHSS Billawar (Kathua) and 3rd Ayda Arif Kashmir valley School Budgam. The consolation prizes for two exhibits went to Tazkiya Zehra from Green View Magam Badgam and Yawar Abbas Bhat from BMS Gagarpura Badgam. The prizes to the winners of the exhibition were given by Mohd Iqbal (Joint Director trgs/Principal SIE Jammu.
