Jammu, Jan 11: All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers Forum organized a meeting under the chairmanship of Arunesh Kumar District President of the Forum. According to press release, the speakers expressed concern over the inordinate delay in the adjustment of newly promoted lecturers and those lecturers who have been repatriated from Leh and Kargil Districts and said that a large number of vacancies are existing in the schools, which has adversely affected the education of the students. They also demanded enhancement of the grade pay of Principals and declaration of their post as non vacational, removal of pay anomaly of lecturers in physical education, running pattern in favour of+2cadre,formulation and implementation of rational Transfer Policy and regularization of all Joint directors, Chief Education Offices, Principals and lecturers serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department etc. Speaking on the occassion, Arunesh Kumar shared the concern of the speakers and urged the concerned authorites to concede all the demands projected by them.He also demanded that the lecturers repatriated from Leh and Kargil be adjusted suitably. He also demanded that all the Incharge incumbents in the Department be regularised at the earlest.He also demanded that there should be a rational and transparent transfer policy in the School Education Department and it should be strictly implemented.He also demanded a ban on transfers in the mid session. He demanded enhancement in the remuneration in the rates of supervisory and evaluation duties of JKBOSE,holding of examinations in time,timely clearance of bills, publication of annual calender of various activities by the Board.
