Kathua, Jan 11: Rehbar-e- Taleem (ReT) teachers today staged massive protest demonstration at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park and appealed Governor NN Vohra to release their long pending remuneration. While addressing to media, Anita Sharma, President ReT, Kathua unit, welcomed Governor's rule in Jammu and Kashmir and appealed to release their 8 months long pending monthly remuneration. She said ReTs brought revolution in the development of education system in J&K even they were not provided handsome packages. She said Makers of the nation, teachers, are in starvation mood and don't have any other source of income to run their families. She alleged on previous government to ignore their demands as 7000 teachers under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan are without monthly remuneration. She appealed to release with immediate effect so that they can survive. Dozens of teachers were present there. |
