Mendhar, Jan 14: SDM Mendhar Ramesh Kumar reviewed the arrangements for Republic Day on Wednesday and they decided that the main function will be held at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Mendhar where the VIP will host the National flag.
According to press release, the contingents drawn from government as well as private educational institutions will participate and cultural items based on the patriotic theme would be presented on the occasion.
The arrangements for security, drinking water, power supply, sanitation, barricading and medical facilities were also discussed in the meeting.
SDM exhorted upon the officers to make befitting arrangements to make the celebrations a success and said that the day should be celebrated with traditional gaiety and fervour. Tehsildar, SHO, BMO, Tehsil level officers, Principals of Educational institutions were presented in the meeting. |
