Jammu, Jan 14: On the auspicious occasion of Makarsakranti, MLA-elect Jammu East Rajesh Gupta participated in Makaskranti Meet organized by Vyapar Mandal Vikram Chowk here at Vikram Chowk.
Chairman Rattan Lal Gupta, President Sanjay Gupta, Rajinder Kumar, Vipin Gupta, Sandeep Gupta and Ramesh Gupta besides other members of Vyapar Mandal offered warm welcome to Rajesh Gupta and also congratulated him on his remarkable victory in the recently held Assembly polls. Hailing the host organization, MLA Rajesh expressed his gratefulness to the voters for extending overwhelming support to his candidature which helped him in achieving landmark victory.
MLA-elect Jammu East while enjoying sumptuous Khichdi prepared on the occasion of Makarsakranti dwelt on the significance and rituals associated with this festival.
Speaking on his future prospects about Jammu East Constituency, Rajesh assured people that issues concerning parking, sanitation, lanes and drains, power supply and water are among top priorities besides creating edifice to showcase tourism potential attracting more and more tourists to boost the economy of this Assembly Segment.
