| Join, support movement for cause of Jammu Pradesh: JPUF | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 14: Seeking support to the cause of movement for the cause of Jammu Pradesh, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Convener of the Jammu Pradesh United Front(JPUF) and other senior leaders of various parties and core members of the front appealed various likeminded political parties, social organizations/groups, intellectual forums, Youth & student organizations, various associations and federations to join and support the movement led by the front for the cause of Jammu Pradesh.
Balwant Singh Mankotia said that Jammu Province has been facing socio-political discrimination since decades may it be allocation of funds, employment in govt. services, selection in professional colleges or number of Assembly Constituencies when compared to Kashmir.
Mankotia lamented that despite of electing 25 MLA's from Jammu region we have not been able to form the popular government headed by the Chief Minister from Jammu region. He and other core members of the front were in a view that the people of Jammu Pradesh should learn from Omar Abdullah that how he dared to give an unconditional support to the PDP instead of BJP cutting across his party lines for the cause of Kashmir. Even the Hurriyat Conference and other separatist groups also raised their voice in unison with all the valley centric political parties showing their solidarity with Kashmir.
Balwant Singh Mankotia added that it is a high time now that the people of Jammu province should get united and fight for their rights leaving behind their petty interests to secure the future of the forthcoming generation once and for all.
