Jammu, Jan 14: Police today arrested two drug peddlers in two separate incidents reported from across the Jammu region on Wednesday.
According to police sources, Channi Himmat police arrested a drug paddler and recovered banned drugs from his possession here during naka checking today.
They said Channi Himmat Police led by SHO Aejaz Ahmed Wani, during naka checking at Channi Rama near Police Line, intercepted one Amit Sharma of Rama Channi and during his frisking, police team recovered banned drugs including 300 bottles of Corex (Trade name).
Meanwhile, yet in another similar drive Bhaderwah Police led by SHO Bandashwer Singh, supervised by
SDPO Sardar Sajjad Khan, on specific information intercepted a Jammu bound bus at Sirthal arrested one youth Sunny and on his frisking police recovered intoxicant drugs including 20 bottles of Corex, 500 Proxivon Capsules,30 Alpraqualt and 210 Alprotop.
After his arrest, police booked the accused under NDPS Act. |
