| Educational cum motivational tour flagged off | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 20: An Educational cum Motivational tour comprising of Sarpanches, Panchayat Members, Teachers, Local Leaders and Social Workers was flagged off by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Sohanda under Delta Force, today. The tour was Flagged-off by General Officer Commanding Delta Force. The participants will be visiting various places of historical, educational and cultural interest in Noida, Ajmer and Udaipur over a period of 11 days.
At the Flagging-off ceremony, the participants were addressed by General Officer Commanding, who exalted them to use this opportunity for the larger benefit of the society. The General emphasized on the importance of being acquainted with the rich heritage and culture of our great country. The tour will provide an opportunity to interact with citizens of different states and gain an insight into the transcendental change that peace and tranquility ushers bringing prosperity and development. The participants appreciated the efforts of Indian Army in organizing the tour, as it will help to broaden the horizons and gain the knowledge of various places. The locals and officials of district administration also expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army for their concerted efforts in providing an opportunity to these influential strata of society who in turn can mould impressionable young minds. |
