Clerical Association holds meeting, highlights demands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 20: Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association representatives today held meeting highlights demands under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik. According to press release, all representatives in one voice appealed to his Excellency Governor of the state to redress all the pending demands of the employees including removal of Pay anomalles/ disparity of clerical cadre and release pending 17 percent DA at an earliest. The state government to issue necessary orders regarding the burning demands of the employees before the implementation of code of conduct in the state viz removal of pay anomalles of clerical cadre by giving grade of Rs. 4000- Rs. 6000 to Junior Assistant and Rs. 4500-Rs. 7000 to senior assistant and Rs. 5500-9000 to head assistant, release of pending DA 10 percent January and July 2014 in cash, increase of medical allowance from Rs. 300 per month to Rs. 1000 per months, formation of policy for regularization of Adhoc/ Daily rated workers/ casual labourers. Malik further appealed to all the clerical cadre employees to come on a common platform to get the rights and to take the struggle to its logical end. Moreover he also appealed to the hon'ble governor of the state to personally intervene in this matter to do justice with the clerical cadre by removing the pay anomalies / disparity of the clerical cadre otherwise the employees will come on streets to get their genuine rights and also appealed his excellency to spare some time to listen and discuss the grievances of employees.
