BSP criticizes BJP Govt over petroleum products | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 20: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Jammu and Kashmir criticized the NDA government for playing mockery with general masses instead of Rs 2 per liter, it could have been reduced by 9 per liter to petrol cost and others problems were highlighted. Addressing the media persons, State president Tarsem Khullar said it increased excise duty, on the cost of masses leaving them high and dry which have exposed the policy of government against poor masses. "In-spite of people verdict in assembly election to BJP, PDP, Congress and National Conference parties having their hidden agenda couldn't form the government which resulted in inposition of Governor rule in Jammu and Kashmir State," he added. He pointed out that before formation of BJP government at Centre there was proposal to open Divisional railways manager office at Jammu which would have fetched employment to youths of the State. But after formation of BJP government at centre the proposal is being shelved, reasons of which better known to BJP government is but is proved beyond any doubt that policies of BJP is against the poor people of the State particular. While, he elaborated these polices of government for down trodden communities such as SC, ST and OBC. He said any government may congress, NC , PDP adopted their attitude against the welfare of these communities. The employee from SC, ST and OBC communities are deliberately transferred to far flung area, their promotion roaster is never maintained, reservation quota is not maintained there is huge back log which is never filled. "Again, it is a height of mockery that OBC has been derived their due share of reservation only 2 percent is being given to 40 percent OBC population of Jammu and Kashmir which is again the spirit of Supreme Court Jugement, Mandal commission recommendation providing 27 percent reservation which couldn't be tolerated.," he said Among those who were presented on the occasion included Tulsi Dass Langeh, Rattan Lal Chargotra, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, Ashok Bhagat, Rakesh Wazir, Som Nath Majotra, Som Nath, Ram Chand, Charanjeet Bitta, Dalip Gill, Dalvir Bhagat and others. |
