| MLA Billawar holds meeting of PHE department | | | BILLAWAR , Jan 20 :Senior BJP leader and MLA Billawar Dr Nirmal Singh today took a meeting with PHE department at Dayalachak for public/department coordination and instructed the officials to look at every possible option to improve the facilities of existing projects and make proposals keeping future on account. He also interacted with SPOs and assured their problems will be resolved soon. Concerned XEn , AE , JE of Civil, Mechanical, Ground Water wings of PHE department were present in the meeting.
Dr Singh said, "It is the need of the hour to carry out operations swiftly, where existing projects should be looked upon in such a way to improve the output parameters. "We should look in to the future and plan all future projects on that basis so that needs of people can be catered purely," Dr Singh added. He also said that those projects which have become defunct should be looked in and they should get converted to working projects again. Officials of different wings of PHE department apprised concerned MLA about various projects and informed him about the necessary steps would be taken to meet up various demand. In another meeting with SPOs, Dr Nirmal Singh said that BJP government understand the problems of SPO's and immediately once BJP government is formed in J&K , SPO's will get their dues. On demand of SPO's of salary increment, Dr Singh said that he had taken up the issue of SPOs to Home Minister Rajnath Singh and the benefits will be passed on to SPOs soon. |
