BJYM lodges complaint with PMO, MHRD over delay in construction of schools | | | Jammu, Jan 20: Expressed concern over delay in the construction of new schools approved by Government of India (GoI) under RMSA and SSA in Jammu and Kashmir, State Secretary Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Partap Singh Jamwal has lodged a complaint with the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in New Delhi, Union Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Governor of State, National President BJYM, State BJP President and other prominent leaders of the party. In the complaint, Partap has expressed dismay over the performance of former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the then Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Tara Chand, as according to him (Partap), maximum school construction works under taken in hand while Omar was Chief Minister i.e. from 2009-2015 are awaiting completion due to the mess and widespread corruption in the Education system. Partap has appealed PMO office as well as all the party dignitaries including Governor Jammu and Kashmir N N Vohra to direct the administrative hierarchy in Education department, Jammu and Kashmir to speed up the construction work as soon as possible in the interest of student community of the state |
