JMWC, AMCC urge Vohra to resolve KPs issues | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 20: Jagti Migrants Welfare committee and AMCC in a joint meeting held at Jagti Township under the leadership of Veer Ji belove discussed some core and important issues facing KP's at present and urged Governor of State to intervene and take stock of the grave situation facing the KP Community at various migrant camps. During the meeting members lambasted Relief Organization for its total failure in solving the genuine and important problems of the community. They alleged Relief Department has become den of corruption and prolonging the issues with delaying tactics and excuses for no purpose and has become totally defunct. "It has become a nominal organization only in name without action. It has become dictator pub and a source of money mint for some persons, they added. Pintoo Ji President JMWC while addressing the members said, the issues like pending of Bifurcation files, issuing of RBA and state subject certificates, repair and renovation of quarters, lack of Medicines in the existing Primary Health Centre, street/Roads in bad conditions, Supply of Ration before 5th of every month and deputing of more police personnel at Police Post Jagti need to be addressed but unfortunately Relief department is more busy in dictating innocent tenants instead of resolving their issues. In his address T K Dhar made an appeal to His Excellency the Governor of J &K, should personally take stock of the grave situation facing the KP Community at this crucial time after 25 years of exile. Desh Rattan (AMCC) said, "The Relief department should be reshuffled as its employees are dictating monopoly and are least bothered about the concerns of the community. Among others present in the meeting include Ravinder Raina, Santosh Kumar, Chand Ji, Bublu Goswami, Raju Dhar, Raj Nath Pandita and others. |
