9 gamblers held with Rs 28000 1/21/2015 12:43:52 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 20: Police arrested nine gamblers and recovered Rs 28,000 as stake money from their possession from a hotel Moti Mahal. Police sources said that on specific information party led by SDPO North Parbeet Singh and assisted by in-charge police post Residency Road Altaf Hussain raided aMoti Mahal hotel and arrested seven gamblers. Arrested has been identified Shabir Ahmed Sheikh of Rajbagh Srinagar, Mohammad Hussain Sheikh, Adrees Ahmed, Abid Hussain, Abdul Hameed, Basheer Ahmed Bhat, Manzoor Ahmed, AshIq Hussain all residents of Anantnag and Shabir Ahmed Lawy of Hazratbal. Police sources said that they recovered playing cards and stake money Rs 28000 from the spot.
