Jammu, Feb 8: Continuing their efforts to provide better health tips to the student fraternity and to generate awareness regarding life style diseases and their prevention through traditional ayurvedic methods a free medical camp organized by Parivartan- NGO with active support of ISM department was held at Government High School, Raipur (Kot-Bhalwal). During the camp, free medicine and consultation were provided to hundreds of students including boys and girl suffering from hypertension, joint pain, skin problems and mental stress. The camp was inaugurated by the principal school, Sat Pal Sharma in the presence of his staff members. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman, Parivartan, Vikas Sharma said that main motive of the camp is to provide best medicare services to student of school and to promote Ayurveda in the State. The doctors who rendered their services included Dr. Jitender Kumar (Medical Officer, Raipur, ISM deptt), Tara Chand, senior Pharmacist and Ashish Kapoor, an eminent social worker. Among others, who participated during the camp included Vishal Targotra, Rajinder Singh, Naresh, Mukesh Oberai and Joginder. |
